I’m aware that I should complete one course per year – is this a calendar year or registration year?
You are required to complete one mandatory course per year. The year is based on the registration/renewal date of the Lion Training Passport, so is the registration year. This means that this is fair to those register later in the calendar year.
Who will invoice me for my registrations/renewals?
Lantra provide the invoicing services for the scheme, they issue invoices on the instruction from the scheme administrators at Poultec, based on requests to register and/or renew members.

The database holding the records includes a number of reports – an automated report that highlights gaps in training is sent monthly and ad-hoc reports can be run at any time. These can identify gaps in training and provide a list of registered members. Ad-hoc reports can only be generated by those with Team Manager… Read more »

An individual can view their own Lion Training Passport, as can their employer and, if authorised, the packer (this authority is defined at enrolment, but can be updated at any time). Users have their own login credentials for accessing the database and… Read more »

Can online training be approved?
Online training is permitted as long as it is either delivered as a live online session or is hosted on a platform that provides the same experience of knowledge transfer for the delegate. The scheme administrators can assist with identifying suitable platforms.
Can the training that I deliver be recognised by the scheme?
Providers of training can submit their course for approval against the short course content standards. Providers of training need to demonstrate that the course content standards are met and that the tutor has the relevant experience and competence to deliver the training. Full details of how to submit your training can be found at Course… Read more »
